NuTyX takes Linux From Scratch's build-it-yourself philosophy as its starting inspiration but makes it more approachable day to day: its own 'cards' package manager can install packages either from source (compiled locally, LFS-style) or from pre-built binaries, giving users the choice between full from-source customization and the convenience of a normal package manager as needed. It organizes software into 'collections' and 'groups' for flexible system composition, and offers live ISOs with a choice of several desktop environments for users who want a working system out of the box rather than building one up from nothing. It remains a comparatively small, French-community-driven project relative to the mainstream distributions it takes inspiration from.

MirrorNest doesn't mirror distro ISOs — installation media should always come straight from the project's own official download page (linked above), so you get the correct checksum/signature to verify against.
