Homebridge
A lightweight server that emulates the HomeKit API, letting non-HomeKit smart-home devices (and hubs like Home Assistant) show up and work natively in Apple's Home app.

1Run the official container
Host networking is required for HomeKit's device-discovery protocol (Bonjour/mDNS) to work correctly.

Homebridge itself does nothing on its own -- individual community plugins (there are thousands) add support for specific brands and protocols, installed and configured entirely from the web UI's Plugins tab.
