Mac mini (2018 or later), iMac (2019 or later), MacBook Air/Pro (2020 or later), Mac Pro (2019 or later), Mac Studio (all models) — both Intel and Apple Silicon supported.

MacOS Tahoe (version 26, reflecting Apple's shift to year-aligned version numbers across all its platforms) was the last release built to run on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, before MacOS 27 dropped Intel support entirely the following year. Its biggest visible change was Liquid Glass, a system-wide translucent, light-reflecting interface redesign applied across window chrome, controls, and app icons, alongside continuity and productivity refinements and incremental Apple Intelligence features. It typically still receives security-only updates for a period after a newer major version ships, but no further feature updates.
