MacOS Monterey's most distinctive feature was Universal Control, letting a single keyboard and mouse move fluidly across a Mac and a nearby iPad (or a second Mac) as if they were one continuous desktop, along with SharePlay for synchronized media watching/listening during FaceTime calls. With five major MacOS versions released since, it's well outside Apple's typical active security-support window at this point -- included here mainly as a reference point for older-hardware compatibility, not as a currently-recommended version to stay on.
