MacOS Sequoia's standout addition was iPhone Mirroring, letting a user view and directly control their iPhone's screen from their Mac -- including interacting with iPhone-only apps -- without picking the phone up. It also carried the first broad rollout of Apple Intelligence (Writing Tools, a redesigned Siri interface, Photos' Clean Up tool) on supported Apple Silicon hardware. As of MacOS 27's release it's two major versions behind current, still within Apple's informal window for continued security updates but no longer receiving new features.
