Sierra brought Siri to the Mac for the first time and introduced Universal Clipboard for copying between an iPhone/iPad and a Mac. Apple no longer maintains a dedicated marketing page for a release this old, but its own official support article on downloading and installing MacOS explicitly still lists a real path to get it, aimed at exactly the audience still running 2009-2010-era hardware that can't move to anything newer.
