Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 follows the exact same Long-Term Servicing Channel philosophy as its Windows 11 counterpart -- no feature updates for its whole support lifetime, security-only patches, aimed at kiosks, ATMs, medical and industrial equipment that can't tolerate an unplanned UI or behavior change. Critically, its support timeline is entirely separate from (and longer than) regular Windows 10 Home/Pro's: mainstream support runs to January 12, 2027, with Extended Security Updates available for purchase out to January 2030, meaning an LTSC 2021 device is not in the same immediate end-of-support situation Windows 10 Home/Pro devices are as of October 2025.
