Windows Server 2019
Added Windows Admin Center and Storage Migration Service over Server 2016 — currently in its extended-support-only phase, with full end of support landing January 2029.
Platform
Windows
Released
October 2018
Support ends
January 9, 2029 (mainstream support already ended January 9, 2024)
System requirements
1.4 GHz 64-bit CPU, 512MB RAM (2GB for Server with Desktop Experience), 32GB storage minimum.
Windows Server 2019 built on 2016's container and Storage Spaces Direct foundation, adding Windows Admin Center as a modern browser-based management console and Storage Migration Service for moving data off older file servers. Mainstream support ended January 9, 2024; it's now in the security-updates-only extended support phase, currently scheduled to run through January 9, 2029, with paid Extended Security Updates able to extend coverage a further three years past that if needed.
Release dates, support windows, and system requirements come from Microsoft's and Apple's own published lifecycle pages (linked above) — always confirm there before relying on this for a production/enterprise deployment decision, since support policies occasionally change.
