Listen to Morse characters, transcribe what you hear, and receive a score that reflects the accuracy of your answers. Morse Trainer uses the Koch method, introducing symbols gradually so your ear can learn each one before the lessons become more demanding.

Each practice session plays randomly selected characters, beginning with just two letters in the first lesson. Every subsequent lesson adds another character, giving learners a measured path from basic recognition to a broader Morse vocabulary. A built-in sounder also converts text you enter into Morse audio, so you can rehearse sending messages as well as receiving them.

The program suits beginners studying Morse code, radio enthusiasts practicing copy skills, and anyone preparing for exercises where characters must be recognized by sound. French, Turkish, and Italian translations are included through contributions from Le-jun, dybdeskarphet, and p-davide.

Morse Trainer is open-source Android software in the Education category, currently at version 4.6, with universal architecture and support for Android 5.0 and newer. This release fixes a crash that could occur when the program started.
