MyRadar Weather Radar

Open MyRadar Weather Radar to see animated live radar centered on your current location and judge what weather is approaching, with loops covering up to two hours. Its hyperlocal rain-alert system uses patent-pending technology to predict rain at your location up to an hour ahead, down to the minute, with expected intensity and duration. These proactive notifications help with commuting, travel, outdoor plans, and other situations where repeatedly checking the map is inconvenient.

You can overlay animated winds from the surface to jetstream levels, frontal boundaries with pressure systems, earthquakes filtered by severity and time, worldwide tropical storm and hurricane activity, aviation data, and wildfires across the United States. The aviation layer includes AIRMETs, SIGMETs, flight tracking, and IFR flight plans and paths. Weather and environmental notifications include National Weather Center tornado and severe-weather alerts, while tropical alerts can announce when a storm forms or changes classification.

An in-house mapping system uses the device GPU for responsive navigation, with pinch-to-zoom and panning across the United States and the rest of the world. Pilots, travelers, commuters, and anyone planning outdoor activities can use the map and alerts to assess conditions at a specific place or monitor developing hazards.

MyRadar Weather Radar runs on Android and is freeware; its Premium upgrade adds real-time hurricane tracking, forecast-track probability cones, and detailed National Hurricane Center synopses. Version 8.61.1 adds Meteorology Notes and Mesoscale Discussions layers with alerts, includes all Premium features in Aviation Charts, and fixes high-zoom map tiles plus radar-widget resizing, zoom, and tap behavior. It also resolves a MyRadar Account sign-in loop showing “Session Expired” and a rare crash when moving between screens.
