Turn formulas into reusable, documented calculations with NerdCalci, which combines a calculator’s immediate results with a text editor’s editable sessions. It lets you define variables, reuse values, calculate percentages with expressions such as “20% of 50000” and “15% off 1000,” and convert units using phrases like “10 m in feet” or “100 kmph to mph.” Its calendar-aware date-and-time engine supports time zones, while custom multi-statement functions provide isolated scopes and dynamic variables calculate block totals and averages.

Color-coded syntax highlighting distinguishes numbers, variables, operators, and comments; line numbers aid navigation, comments beginning with # document the work, autocomplete suggests variable names, and diagnostics explain mathematical or syntax errors in plain language. Calculations can be separated into multiple auto-saved files, tagged, pinned, searched by name or tag, duplicated under new names, and revised through up to 30 undo and redo steps per file. Files can be backed up automatically or manually to app storage or a custom folder, restored from backups, copied together with their results, or exported as PNG images and multi-page PDFs.

System, dark, and light themes accommodate different working preferences. NerdCalci suits developers, students, accountants, and learners working on budgets, formulas, unit conversions, or reusable numerical notes, and it works offline for calculations away from an internet connection.

NerdCalci 4.9.8 is open-source Education software for Android 6.0 and later, with builds for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86. This release accepts Unicode letters in identifiers, including Greek symbols such as δ, θ, α, and λ, as well as Devanagari, Vietnamese, Cyrillic, and CJK scripts, and permits multi-word variable and function names using underscores.
