Sift1.0.7

Collect recipes from website pages into one personal collection, then consult them on your phone without the advertising and lengthy stories commonly surrounding online recipe pages. To import a recipe, connect Sift to an LLM provider so the app can extract its contents; recipes that are not imported can instead be entered manually. Imported and manually created entries appear together, so their origin does not dictate how they are managed.

Sift keeps recipe data locally on the device in a local-first workflow, while still letting you edit saved entries after they are added. Custom tags help organize recipes by any system you prefer, such as cuisine, occasion, or ingredients. This combination suits Android users who collect recipes from the web but want a focused personal reference for browsing and organizing them on a phone.

Sift is open-source and runs on Android 6.0 or later, with support for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures. The current 1.0.7 release moves the recipe-save control into the top navigation bar, improves the text-input popup experience, and updates the prompt used for recipe extraction. Its distinct approach combines LLM-assisted web extraction with manual entry, local storage, editing, and tagging in one collection.
