StudyDesk

StudyDesk is an open-source Android app designed to help students carry out and organize their study work. It belongs to MirrorNest’s Science & Education category and centers on courses, deadlines, and study sessions. Users can enter their courses and deadlines, while the Next Up engine ranks what to work on right now.

Courses can be organized by school year and period, referred to as jakso. A read-only Period History shows the GPA for each period. The app supports grading on both IB and GPA scales. StudyDesk also includes a built-in Pomodoro focus timer for structuring study sessions, along with an optional AI study debrief after a session.

Its warm paper aesthetic defines the visual style, while its local-first approach supports using the app locally. Cloud synchronization is optional and requires an account, and Google sign-in uses a plain web OAuth flow rather than Google Play Services. StudyDesk is part of the Limecore Nexus suite and is available in English, Finnish, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Arabic. MirrorNest mirrors the official Android build directly on its own storage and scans it for malware before publishing.
