The radar shows developments minute by minute over short periods and across the next several hours, including a free four-day WeatherRadar outlook. Daily forecasts and a broader 14-day forecast help with road trips, vacations, and events that require longer planning. Current and forecast details include temperature, wind speed and direction, air pressure, UV index, and air quality.

RainRadar, lightning tracking, and separate storm, fog, cloud, and wind views give travelers, commuters, and outdoor enthusiasts more context before making plans. A Home Screen widget displays local weather, current conditions, and forecast information without opening the app, while alerts can flag severe storms, thunderstorms, first snow, extreme heat, and strong wind.
