Weather Forecast detects your area on Android and presents current conditions for that location, while also letting you search for forecasts in other places around the world. It supports planning work, events, travel, and everyday activities by bringing local and distant weather information into one mobile interface.

Current details include temperature, wind chill, humidity, precipitation, wind speed, ultraviolet index, rain and snow probability, dew point, wind direction, cloud cover, moon phase, pressure, sunrise, and sunset. Forecast screens provide hourly conditions for a selected day, a 24-hour outlook, and a seven-day view. Charts help visualize changes, while the background adapts to clear, rainy, cloudy, and other conditions.

Weather radar views show temperature, precipitation, clouds, and wind, and measurement settings include familiar choices such as Celsius and Fahrenheit. Different home-screen widget designs can display weather at a glance, with an option to place the current temperature in Android’s status bar. Users may also enable a daily notification, initially scheduled for 7:00 AM, and change that notification time.

Version 2.4 tunes the interface and adds an option for selecting the preferred weather conditions to display outside, so the choice is available without clicking the three-dot icon. Weather Forecast is freeware in the Lifestyle category, and a paid version with additional features is also available.
