Adobe Scan: PDF Scanner App26.06.26

Scan paperwork with a phone camera and turn it into PDF or JPEG files, bringing physical documents into digital form without a separate scanner. Adobe Scan AI PDF Scanner, OCR handles receipts, identification cards, contracts, invoices, notes, business cards, whiteboards, printed photos, and existing JPG images. A single receipt can be captured on its own, or several pages can be combined into one PDF.

Automatic edge detection frames the page, while Straighten helps correct its alignment before saving. Magic Eraser can remove fingers, shadows, stains, and creases from a scan. Optical character recognition makes the resulting documents searchable, lets you copy their text, and supports export to editable Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files. The AI Assistant and Generative Summary can pull out key points, answer questions about a document, and prepare drafts for emails, reports, or next steps.

Scans are saved automatically to Adobe Document Cloud, making them available for access, export, and sharing across devices. Folder organization helps keep paperwork easy to find for expense reports, contract records, shared notes, and other work, school, or home tasks. The camera-based workflow suits anyone digitizing documents while traveling, studying, handling office records, or keeping household paperwork organized.
