Users can send money to more than 70 countries and receive the mid-market exchange rate for each transfer. More than 65% of transfers are reported to arrive instantly in under 20 seconds, although the timing depends on the transaction and is not guaranteed.

Its multi-currency card supports purchases and cash withdrawals in more than 160 countries, automatically converting money when the local currency is not held in the account. Wise provides a UK account number and sort code, a European IBAN, and Australian account details for receiving payments in several currencies and managing direct debits. Users can hold 40 currencies, convert between them at the mid-market rate for a fee, schedule automatic conversions, and set exchange-rate alerts. Two-factor authentication, encryption, and biometric security protect transfers.
