AirParrot wirelessly mirrors a Mac screen to a television, projector, or computer, and sends media files such as movies, photos, and music to compatible receivers. It lets users present desktop activity or play selected content without a cable connection. From macOS, it can send audio and video to Apple TV, HomePod, AirPlay-enabled speakers, Chromecast, and other supported receivers.

Screen sharing can reproduce the entire display, extend the desktop as extra workspace, or stream individual files. Media playback supports 5.1 surround sound without quality loss, while AirParrot can address several receivers at once, including simultaneous broadcasts to Apple TV and Chromecast or audio distribution to AirPlay speakers. It quickly locates available receivers on the network; Quick Connect can connect directly to a device running Reflector 4, and Bluetooth discovery helps find connection targets.

Teachers, presenters, and households can use AirParrot to share lessons, presentations, entertainment, or music with people gathered around a TV or projector. The software can mirror Windows and macOS screens, with a computer running Reflector serving as the receiving display. The optional AirParrot Remote provides control from an iPhone or iPad.

On Mac, AirParrot 3.1.7 runs on macOS 12 Monterey or later and supports Intel and Apple Silicon. It is freeware in the Video & Media Players category. AirPlay devices, Chromecast, compatible televisions or projectors, and Reflector 4 are among the receiving environments supported by its wireless sharing features.
