Altair GraphQL Client lets you send GraphQL requests, inspect responses, and debug queries and server implementations from a desktop interface. It is a GraphQL client IDE intended for developers and other technical users who work with GraphQL services. You can connect to any GraphQL server you are authorized to access, regardless of the platform hosting that server.

Working environments can be switched quickly, which helps when moving between local, staging, and production endpoints. Advanced schema documentation search gives you a convenient way to find types and fields, while schema entries can generate queries or fragments in the editor without manually entering every field. Binary files can be supplied as variables for uploads that follow the GraphQL multipart request specification. The client can also refresh its schema automatically when changes are announced through the GraphQL Event Stream specification.

Pre-request scripts let you calculate dynamic variables before sending an operation, and query collections can be created, exported, and shared with teammates. Plugins extend the core client with additional capabilities, while several language options allow the interface to be used in a native language.
