AppLock Pro - App Lock & Guard5.7.6

AppLock Pro - App Lock & Guard lets you place selected apps behind a PIN, pattern, supported fingerprint, or KnockCode. It can protect WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Gallery, Settings, and other apps, helping keep private conversations and personal content away from unintended viewers.

Locking Gallery also restricts access to stored photos and videos, while protecting system settings and hiding the AppLock Pro icon makes removal more difficult. After five incorrect password attempts, the front camera captures a photo and stores it securely, and repeated failed entries can trigger an alarm. A fake error screen can conceal the lock, while notifications from protected apps can be hidden or blocked; a secret answer provides password recovery.

Users can schedule locking to pause during selected hours or make an app lock again after a short break. Vibration, alerts for newly installed apps, and protection for the recent-apps view add control over how the guard behaves. Custom themes and personal gallery images can alter the lock screen’s appearance.

It suits people protecting social apps, chats, photos, and device settings on a shared phone or in situations where private content needs an extra barrier. App Lock LLC publishes version 5.7.6 for Android as freeware in the Productivity category. The free edition is also accompanied by a paid version offering additional features.
