Aside1.0.928.1

Aside carries out browser tasks across your websites, logged-in accounts, and browsing history through an integrated AI assistant. It can sign in to email, dashboards, and internal tools, then handle complex work such as messages, payments, comments, replies, and follow-ups directly through those sites rather than relying on separate integrations.

The browser can work with documents and spreadsheets stored on your computer, giving it access to files as part of a task. Its memory uses browsing history to remember which sites support particular kinds of work, while keeping that memory locally on the device. Aside has ranked first in the Online-Mind2Web, BU-Bench-V1, and Odysseys browser-agent benchmarks, ahead of OpenAI, Anthropic, and Browser Use.

Aside includes a password manager called Aside Vault, where credentials are autofilled into websites without being exposed to the AI agent. Payments, posts, messages, and other sensitive actions pause for human approval, and every credential use is recorded with scoped access and an audit log. Tasks, memory, and other data stay on the device rather than being shared with LLM providers, with Secure Enclave protection, hardware-backed end-to-end encryption, and post-quantum encryption.

This freeware runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later and supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Version 1.0.928.1 suits people who want an agent to perform substantial work inside their existing web accounts while retaining review of sensitive actions.
