Track every coding-agent change as a searchable checkpoint, linking each commit to the session that produced it. Atlas captures the prompts, tool calls, reasoning, and file changes behind each checkpoint, so you can later determine which agent made a change and why. It is a Developer Tools product for coordinating source control across agent-driven coding work.

Claude Code, Codex, Atlas’s own agent, and agents from the ACP registry can run side by side against one codebase in the same window. Shared memory carries plans, decisions, file changes, failures, and architecture notes between agents, so switching from one agent to another preserves the project’s working context. Markdown files in .atlas/knowledge/, along with existing CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md files, supply additional context to every agent.

Type @ references for files, folders, symbols, branches, commits, notes, papers, and previous sessions; Atlas resolves those items locally before sending the prompt. The arrangement suits developers comparing agents, handing a task from one coding assistant to another, or investigating the origin of a change months after it was made.

Version 0.3.4 is freeware for macOS 13 and later on Apple Silicon (arm64); the developer also provides a macOS Intel build and a Windows 10+ x64 build. Linux builds use the same Tauri codebase but are untested, and the software is also available as an .msi for Windows alongside the macOS .dmg distribution.
