Atoll2.3.3

Turn the MacBook’s built-in display notch into a Dynamic Island-style area with Atoll, giving that otherwise unused space an active role on the desktop. The software is designed around the notch itself, presenting its interface in the area occupied by the camera cutout rather than treating it as a fixed interruption. Its central function is to provide a dedicated, adaptable visual space associated with the MacBook notch.

Atoll is suited to MacBook owners who want the notch to feel integrated into the desktop experience, especially when the computer’s display layout makes the cutout noticeable during everyday work. It belongs to the System Tools category and is distributed as freeware, so its purpose is focused on a small system-level enhancement rather than a larger productivity suite. The current release is version 2.3.3.

Atoll runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later and supports both Intel-based Macs and Apple silicon systems. Because its interface is specifically built around the MacBook notch, its most relevant use is on a compatible MacBook display with that camera cutout. Users should treat it as a macOS utility centered on the notch, rather than as a general desktop customization environment.
