Balance turns supported bank balance SMS messages into an offline dashboard, showing the latest balance for each bank and a combined total without repeatedly adding the same notifications. It is designed for users in Iran and recognizes Iranian banks and Persian-language bank SMS formats.

Local parsing tracks deposits and withdrawals in transaction history by day, month, and year, while a Toman display mode presents figures in the commonly used local unit. Users can pull to refresh with a progress animation, or long-press Refresh to rescan all bank messages currently in the inbox. A home-screen widget offers quick refresh and a privacy mask, while persistent masking can conceal balances in the app. Automatic light and dark themes follow the device’s current appearance.

Balance stores SMS and financial data encrypted on the device, and password-protected backup and restore protect saved information. Parsing works offline with no internet permission, and the app uses no account, cloud service, analytics, or network access. Version 1.17.0 adds an amber Unaccounted row when the bank’s balance changes by more than the messages received can explain; it is dated on the later statement, included in every total, and calculated from two bank-issued balance statements. Movements now use the bank’s own timestamp, with each reason and communication channel read directly from the bank’s message.
