Baluchon tracks shared spending for friends or family on vacations, weekends, and other group trips, showing who paid and how much each person should ultimately contribute. Create a trip, add participants, and optionally arrange them into families when that grouping makes the accounts easier to manage. Each expense can have a name and date, one or more payers, a calculation such as 12+8, and an exact list of the participants concerned.

Every participant receives an adjustable share weight, such as 1 for a full share or 0.5 for a child, and that weight can be changed for individual expenses. The Expenses tab shows the amount per share beneath each cost, while Baluchon calculates each person’s or family’s balance, the total trip cost per person, and a minimal set of reimbursements. When the group settles up, users can record an actual transfer between two people.

The app supports multiple currencies by letting users define a custom exchange rate for each expense. A complete trip summary can be exported as a PDF, while JSON data can be shared between devices and merged from several participants; contacts can also supply participant entries. Trips can be duplicated with their participants and families for recurring journeys with the same group.

Baluchon runs on Android 8.0 or later, supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86, and is distributed under the GPL-3.0-or-later open-source license. It requires no account, contains no advertising, works fully offline, and stores data on the phone. Version 3.3 displays each expense’s per-share amount, copies a reimbursement amount when tapped, and fixes a 0.01 leftover after a real reimbursement.
