Scan nearby Bluetooth Low Energy advertising peripherals and inspect their signal strength with Bluetility on a Mac. Sorting by received signal strength helps users identify the closest or most responsive devices during wireless development and testing.

Selecting a connected peripheral lets you browse its services and characteristics, while a tooltip on the Devices list exposes its advertising data without opening a separate view. Bluetility records characteristic reads and writes in a log that can be saved as a CSV file for later analysis. It also supports copying and pasting with Cmd+C and Cmd+V, and can automatically reconnect to a peripheral after an unexpected disconnection.

Designed for developers, testers, and hardware hobbyists working with BLE devices, Bluetility is a practical System Tools utility for examining device behavior and communication. Its workflow was inspired by LightBlue and addresses gaps in that utility with reconnect handling and editing-friendly clipboard support.
