BodyCheck scans QR codes produced by compatible gym body composition analyzers and turns their readings into an easy-to-read record on an Android phone. You can point the camera at a code or select a saved image containing one, making it practical for reviewing measurements after a gym assessment. The app displays weight, BMI, body-fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, body water, protein, basal metabolic rate, biological age, and health score.

It also breaks down lean mass and fat mass across the arms, trunk, and legs. A history view lets you follow how these values change across repeated assessments. Data can be exported as a backup and imported onto another device when you need to transfer your records.

BodyCheck is aimed at gym members who want to retain and review analyzer results locally, rather than relying on the equipment’s display or a separate service. It accepts QR codes containing body composition data as numeric JSON arrays with 63, 64, or 95 values, and checks key readings against physiologically plausible ranges. Records stay on the device; the app operates fully offline, sends no data to a server, and includes no analytics or tracking.

This open-source Health & Fitness app runs on Android 7.0 or later for arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a devices. In version 1.1, its camera and QR-reading components were updated to CameraX 1.6.1 and ZXing 3.5.4, improving the foundations used for image capture and code decoding.
