About
BrowserOS lets AI agents such as Claude, Cowork, Codex, and Cursor open tabs, navigate pages, click controls, and read live sites through your logged-in accounts. BrowserOS neo, formerly BrowserClaw, is a local, open-source agentic browser that gives those agents a separate workspace for services such as Gmail, GitHub, X, and online banking. You can watch each action as it happens while keeping your personal browsing session separate.
The browser connects to Claude Code, Cowork, Cursor, or Codex through MCP, the open standard for AI integrations, with a one-click connection and no configuration files or command-line setup. From a terminal or IDE, an agent receives compact page snapshots and can batch actions, reducing round trips and token use compared with processing raw HTML. Multiple agents can run simultaneously in isolated, toggle-grouped tabs, while a cockpit dashboard shows each agent’s site, tool, and step count.
Every run is recorded as a full-screen, searchable video that you can scrub, rewind, and use to correct the agent’s future behavior, with each action logged on your disk. Session history, screenshots, replays, and settings also remain as local files, and agents work only in their own tabs instead of closing or controlling the tabs you are actively using. BrowserOS supports AI agents including OpenClaw and Hermes, and its first launch can identify Claude Code.
