Canonical Kubernetes

Canonical Kubernetes is an open-source Developer Tools product for Linux. It provides a way to deploy a fully conformant Kubernetes cluster using pure upstream Kubernetes. It is intended for developers and teams that need to deploy applications on Kubernetes.

The distribution includes supporting components that upstream Kubernetes does not provide on its own, including ingress, DNS, and networking. These additions are intended to make cluster setup and application deployment more automated, with less manual operational work.

On Linux, installation begins with the command sudo snap install k8s --classic. The cluster can then be initialized with sudo k8s bootstrap.
