Check a shared car’s booking, record a trip, or settle a cost from your phone with Car Coop. It is the Android companion for self-hosted Car Coop servers, built for private groups that coordinate shared vehicles. Each group connects the app to the server URL of its own Car Coop installation, keeping bookings and group activity tied to its chosen system.

Reservations can be reviewed in either a calendar or list view, making it easy to arrange vehicle use around other members’ plans. Members can log trips and mileage, record shared costs, and track expenses and payments between participants. A group message board provides a place for updates and practical coordination. The app also saves the car’s current parking position and can open navigation to help members return to it.

Car Coop suits households, friends, and other private car-sharing groups that need one mobile place for scheduling, journey records, finances, and communication before, during, and after a trip. It is open-source software in the Finance & Shopping category and runs on Android 7.0 or newer devices using the arm64-v8a architecture. Version 1.0.5 is the current release.
