circleci is CircleCI’s official command-line tool for working with CircleCI from a terminal. It brings access to CI runs, jobs, configuration, and other CircleCI features into the command-line environment. It is designed for developers and automation agents that need to interact with CircleCI without leaving the terminal.

The tool supports secure token storage through the password-manager interface. On Linux, this connection can be enabled with sudo snap connect circleci:password-manager-service. If the interface is not connected, the token is stored in the configuration file instead.
