About

Citymapper is an Android navigation and travel application for comparing routes across multiple forms of urban transportation. It provides real-time travel options for public transportation, walking, cycling, and scooters. The application is intended for people planning city journeys who want to review different ways to reach a destination.

Its route planner combines buses, subways, trains, ferries, cabs, ride shares, car shares, bike shares, e-scooters, and walking. Users can start step-by-step directions for transit, walking, cycling, and scooter trips. The app includes turn-by-turn guidance, three map views, nearby e-scooter and e-bike charge levels, and information about no-parking zones. It also provides live wait times and estimated arrival times, tracks approaching buses and trains on a real-time map, and can show the next stop, the best train car, alerts for when to get off, and the best station exit.

Citymapper includes mobility services that let users compare cab fares, hail a ride, and use shared bikes or scooters. Its transit tools provide lock-screen updates for bus, subway, ferry, and train times, along with disruption, delay, status, and alternative-route information.

MirrorNest classifies Citymapper in the Navigation & Travel category for Android and lists it under a demo trial license. MirrorNest links directly to the official release rather than hosting a mirrored copy, so the catalog serves as a route to the original distribution source.
