TICE – Secure GPS Location Sharing with Friends2.3

Create a secure meetup with TICE – Secure GPS Location Sharing with Friends and invite participants through a link. Everyone in the meetup can see the others’ live positions on a private map, while the group selects a shared meeting point and coordinates where they are going.

A meetup may contain one other person or a larger group, making it useful for friends meeting up, families keeping track of one another, or colleagues coordinating their movements. Group chat messages and real-time notifications provide a place to discuss timing and changes as the meeting develops. Each participant controls location sharing by choosing who is included and turning sharing off when it is no longer needed.

TICE protects both location data and messages with end-to-end encryption, and it can be used without providing a phone number or email address. Android users can also coordinate with people using iPhones, even though TICE itself is an Android application.

Listed in Navigation & Travel, version 2.3 supports Android 6.0 and later on arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, armeabi, x86_64, x86, mips, and mips64 devices. The current release adds compatibility with devices without Google Play Services, and users can contact the team to report bugs or share feedback. TICE makes its source code available under an open-source license.
