CleanupBuddy1.3.1

CleanupBuddy locks your Mac’s keyboard and mouse or trackpad so you can wipe those surfaces without shutting the computer down. While the controls are locked, accidental keystrokes cannot fill fields with gibberish or trigger commands during the cleaning session. An animated character and snarky remarks add playful commentary while the input devices are disabled.

Developed by Gui Rambo, CleanupBuddy is a System Tools utility for macOS that targets a simple maintenance nuisance: keeping the computer active without letting cleaning-related touches interfere with it. It suits Mac users wiping a keyboard, trackpad, or mouse during routine desk and equipment care. The keyboard-and-pointer lock is its defining practical feature, while the character-driven presentation distinguishes it from a purely functional cleaning aid.

The current release is version 1.3.1,15. It requires macOS 13 Ventura or later and runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. CleanupBuddy is freeware, so its stated license permits use without a purchase requirement.
