Compass Tile is an open-source Android app that adds a compass tile to the system’s Quick Settings menu. It is intended for Android users who want to access a compass from the device’s quick settings rather than opening a separate app. The app belongs to the Navigation & Travel category.
The tile is based on a compass feature from an older version of CyanogenMod. When the compass is active, Android requires the app to display a notification. Users can disable that notification by long-pressing the notification or the compass tile.
MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage. Each mirrored build is scanned for malware before it is published. As an Android application, Compass Tile is suited to devices that support the Android Quick Settings menu.
