About
Use Cyberduck to connect to remote servers and cloud storage, browse their folders, and move files between those locations and your Mac. It brings common transfer protocols into one visual browser, giving users a practical way to manage files stored away from the computer.
Connections can be saved as bookmarks, while FTP and WebDAV services on the local network can be discovered automatically. Cyberduck can handle FTP, SFTP, and WebDAV connections, and Finder integration lets it act as the system-wide handler for FTP and SFTP links. From Finder, it can also open .inetloc connection files and .duck bookmark files, making saved destinations available through familiar macOS file workflows.
The program suits web developers, administrators, and teams that exchange files with hosted servers, as well as Mac users working with network storage or cloud accounts. The current 9.5.4,45528 build supports macOS on both Intel and Apple Silicon hardware, and it is categorized under Internet & Browsers. Cyberduck is freeware licensed under the GPL, and its interface speaks multiple languages. The project also posts updates through the Fediverse, while the application’s Finder integration and local-service discovery distinguish it from a basic file browser.
