Dhaaga (Lite)

Dhaaga (Lite) is an open-source client app for the Fediverse on Android. It is listed in the Internet & Browsers category and is intended for reading timelines and handling everyday social activity across supported services. The project takes a fun-first approach while also exploring quality-of-life improvements for people who use Fediverse platforms.

Its Hub interface provides a way to organise and access pinned items. Collections let users save posts for offline access and arrange them into folders. The compact Composer supports creating posts and replies, while Thread View presents conversations by visualising and sorting their replies. Notifications are arranged through Inbox Categories, and Gallery Mode allows profiles to be browsed as an image gallery.

Dhaaga (Lite) also includes a chat interface for talking with friends. Its service support covers Mastodon through vanilla APIs, Misskey and compatible services such as Sharkey and CherryPick, Pleroma, and Akkoma. Bluesky support is marked as experimental.

MirrorNest distributes the official build directly from its own storage rather than describing a separate modified edition. The mirrored file is scanned for malware before it is published, giving the Android download a stated distribution and review process within the catalog.
