Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out

Create shared spaces for conversation, activities, and game sessions with Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out, letting friends and communities stay connected before, during, or after playing. Discord Inc. publishes this Android communication app for gaming groups, friends, and other communities that want a common place to socialize. Users can shape their own spaces around ongoing conversations and shared activities.

Text, voice, and video chat support both casual discussion and coordinated group sessions. Custom emoji, stickers, soundboard effects, avatars, custom statuses, and profile descriptions give each community and member ways to add personality. Voice and video sessions also support low-latency streaming for games, shows, photos, and other activities, while people can join or leave voice and text chats without placing a separate call or sending an invitation.

Discord displays which friends are available, playing games, or spending time in a group, with extra game details available for supported titles. Depending on the community, members can watch videos, play built-in games, listen to music, share memes, and combine those activities with ordinary conversation.

The current version includes bug fixes and performance improvements, with more detailed changes shown in the app under your profile’s “What’s New” section. It is free to use, with a paid version offering additional features.
