dockey1.2

Dockey lets you change hidden Dock settings through buttons and a visual interface instead of Terminal commands. It brings advanced preferences for Dock animations, behavior, and layout into a native macOS utility. An integrated live preview shows how each adjustment will look and feel before you save it.

You can experiment with settings without memorizing defaults-write syntax or guessing at undocumented command options. The preview makes changes visible immediately, while the restore-defaults control provides a direct way to return to the standard Dock configuration. This avoids common command-line problems such as unclear syntax, typing errors, and having to enter additional commands to undo an adjustment.

The lightweight app is aimed at Mac users who want more control over the Dock, developers who do not want to remember Terminal commands, designers concerned with interface behavior, and anyone who prefers visual controls. Made by Igor and friends at Public Space, dockey is a System Tools utility for MacOS. Version 1.2 is freeware and supports macOS 10.13 and newer on both Intel and Apple Silicon devices.
