DockFix replaces the standard macOS Dock with a customizable alternative, solving the built-in Dock’s limited control over appearance and behavior. Users can set colours, opacity, size, position, animations and icons, including artwork for Apple’s native apps that macOS otherwise prevents them from changing. Folders, website shortcuts and custom app icons can be arranged alongside the usual applications.

A file shelf provides a dedicated place for frequently handled files. The dock retains familiar magnification while adding liquid-glass styling and averages under 1% CPU usage.
