DockX1.1.21

DockX puts chosen content directly into your Mac’s Dock and menu bar, giving you an at-a-glance view of information you want close at hand. It can display any content in either location, so you can check a detail without opening another application. The app suits people who want system data, reminders, or visual diversions visible while they work.

For system monitoring, DockX can show network download and upload speed alongside CPU and memory usage. It also supports a date and clock display with a second hand, plus reminder memos marked by red badges. For a more playful display, it can place GIFs in the Dock or menu bar, making the same system areas useful for entertainment.

This is useful at a workstation for checking connection activity, keeping a precise time reference visible, surfacing a short reminder, or adding an animated visual without interrupting the current task. DockX is a System Tools utility for macOS and is distributed as freeware. The current version is 1.1.21, with support for both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
