Build a tailored bed of rain, flowing water, fire, wind, thunder, or deep-space tones by layering any number of recordings and balancing each layer independently. Drift // Audio combines these ambient sounds for rest, sleep, focus, or quiet listening during long nights and long flights. It works offline after installation, allowing mixing without network access.

Built-in presets provide ready-made combinations, while personal mixes can be saved, recalled, or deleted. A sleep timer fades playback after 15, 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Background playback includes lock-screen and notification media controls, with voicing options for a phone speaker, external speakers, or headphones.

Live theme switching changes the interface, whose state is not conveyed through colour alone for colourblind-safe use. Sound choices include plasma waves, Martian wind, and a vast singing sound alongside the natural recordings, making the app suitable for sleepers, focused work, quiet listening, and travel. Version 0.4.3 runs on Android 8.0 or later and supports arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86_64, and x86 architectures.

This open-source software uses the MIT licence, and its field recordings are available under CC0 or in the public domain, with attribution shown through the Credits menu. The current release reprocessed Mars Wind with a highpass filter so its previously inaudible frequencies reach a usable level on phone speakers, even at full volume. It also removes Forest, Warp, and Radio Chatter, which shipped as disabled placeholders without audio and are slated to return with suitable recordings or a synthesis engine.
