Build desktop or embedded touchscreen interfaces by arranging widgets in EEZ Studio’s visual editor, then connect those interfaces to test-and-measurement automation. It combines GUI design with remote control of instruments through SCPI and VISA, allowing developers to create, test, and debug responsive applications in one workspace.

Drag-and-drop editing and flowchart-based visual programming support rapid prototyping without requiring every part of the application to be coded manually. EEZ Flow adds low-code and no-code logic, including complex behaviors, while the built-in widgets, actions, project templates, and examples help start new designs quickly. LVGL integration covers both the 8.x and 9.x series, including an LVGL 9.0 + Flow project type.

The software is aimed at macOS developers who build, test, or maintain applications, from hobby projects to demanding professional products. It fits modernizing an existing interface or creating a new one for kiosks, office information points, industrial and medical equipment, household electronics, electric bikes, scooters, and cars. Its instrument-control features also suit laboratories and engineering teams automating measurements alongside a graphical front end.

EEZ Studio is freeware and open source, with projects supporting Linux, macOS, and Windows; the current 0.29.0 macOS release requires macOS 12 Monterey or later on Apple Silicon arm64 hardware. As a Developer Tools product, it brings embedded and desktop GUI work together with automation rather than treating them as separate workflows.
