Create unlimited custom docks on your Mac with ExtraDock, placing each one along any screen edge or floating freely wherever it is most useful. They work alongside the native Dock, can be assigned to individual displays, and can run horizontally or vertically. Each dock has independent controls for colors, size, icon scale, spacing, background style, visibility, and custom app icons, with solid, transparent, classic macOS, neon, and Liquid Glass looks available.

Docks can hide until you hover, remain visible, disappear in full-screen mode, or collapse into a single button that expands on hover or click. Widgets add a clock, Shelf, App Folders, TamaDocky, and a Live Dock that mirrors the native macOS Dock on another screen. Space-aware docks can reflect the apps and workspace currently in use, while drag-and-drop lets you place files into folders or drop a folder onto an IDE to open a project.

ExtraDock automatically hides a display’s assigned docks when that display disconnects and restores them to their exact positions when it reconnects. It suits people working with multiple monitors, organizing applications by task, or wanting quick access to files and projects without changing the native Dock.
