About
find-my-ports reveals the development ports currently open on a Mac and lets you inspect and manage the processes behind them. It also brings remote Vercel deployments into the same workflow, helping developers track local services alongside deployed projects. When a server fails with an EADDRINUSE clash, such as a Next.js app trying to claim port 3000, it shows which development service is occupying the port.
Rather than only killing the conflicting process, find-my-ports can save a previously launched process and start it again later. This lets you return to your editor quickly after stopping or switching between projects. XRay Mode provides CPU and RAM usage details for running processes, while real-time Git branch visibility shows the code branch associated with current work. The app works with Next.js, React, Vue, Svelte, and other development stacks.
It suits developers running several local servers, restarting paused projects, or diagnosing port clashes during frontend work. macOS 14 Sonoma or newer is required, with support for both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. The product is freeware, while its terms describe one license per machine and an option covering three machines. The current MacOS release is version 1.4.0.
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma+ · Architecture: Intel & Apple Silicon
