Flic2.1.0

Press a Flic button to launch a script, execute a command, or control an application on your Mac with a physical click. The software can advance or reverse presentation slides and trigger actions when the keyboard is out of reach. Flic is a freeware MacOS system tool that runs on Intel and Apple Silicon hardware.

You can assign custom AppleScripts for tailored workflows, or run terminal commands and complex Bash shell scripts directly from a button. It also simulates keyboard shortcuts and more involved key presses, allowing button-driven control of applications that respond to keyboard commands. For connected systems, Flic can publish real-time events through an MQTT broker and integrate with MQTT-based setups. Customizable HTTP requests can call webhooks, endpoints, and REST APIs, extending button actions to online services and other networked tools.

Flic suits Mac users who want a tactile shortcut for presentations, repetitive work, application control, or automation away from the desk. Its current release is version 2.1.0, and using these controls centers on Flic wireless buttons paired with the Mac software.
