Focus2.4.1

Focus blocks distracting websites and apps on your Mac, helping you keep attention on work instead of time-wasting services. It works across popular web browsers, lets you customize blocked sites, and can even block the entire Internet while allowing only selected websites. You can also restrict distracting applications when a browser-only block is not enough.

Built-in timers support ordinary productivity sessions and the Pomodoro technique, with configurable work rounds and optional breaks. Pomodoro Mode is available from the tomato icon, where you can choose the number of rounds and enable Locked Mode. Focus can schedule these routines for daily, weekly, or weekend plans, helping you follow a recurring work pattern.

A locked session cannot be stopped after it begins, and a password can add further control for parents, families, friends, or anyone managing shared use. Profiles can also be locked against changes without the password, while statistics show activity by day, week, month, or year and help maintain a work streak. Freelancers can use those records to track time on projects and create separate profiles for different tasks.

You can switch profiles quickly from the top menu by clicking the profile name or pressing Tab, and scripting can run at the beginning or end of a session. Focus 2.4.1 is freeware productivity software for macOS, with support for both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
