FOSDEM Companion2.3.0

Find FOSDEM sessions instantly, inspect their details, and mark the talks you plan to attend with FOSDEM Companion. Its schedule browser organizes the conference program by track and adapts its layout for both phones and tablets. The app is intended for FOSDEM attendees who need to navigate a large event program before or during the conference.

A session page can include its full description, related links, speaker information, and a map showing the room. A separate, simple map provides an overview of the FOSDEM site. You can add selected sessions to your device calendar, share links to their pages on the FOSDEM website, and maintain bookmarks inside the app. Bookmarked sessions can trigger notifications shortly before they begin.

During FOSDEM, Live view shows sessions currently in progress alongside those starting soon, using a real-time-updated schedule. Notification timing handles timezone changes and device reboots, including schedules downloaded or bookmarks created in another timezone; session start times are calculated according to Belgium time. Version 2.3.0 runs on Android 6.0 or later and uses a universal architecture. FOSDEM Companion is open-source, and the FOSDEM name and gear logo are used with permission from FOSDEM VZW.
