FreeCAD lets you build and edit three-dimensional models whose dimensions and other properties remain controlled by defined parameters. Changing a value in the model history updates dependent features, so designs can be revised without rebuilding them from scratch. The reverse workflow is also supported: dimensions and design details can be extracted from 3D work to produce high-quality, production-ready drawings.
