Drop an application onto the AppCleaner window, and it searches for the related files that the application scattered across your Mac. You can then review the files it finds and remove them by clicking the Delete button, helping reclaim hard-drive space left behind by uninstalled software.

Its main job is to uninstall applications rather than simply remove the visible application file. By locating associated small files and deleting them together, AppCleaner handles the extra data that applications distribute throughout the system. This makes it useful when removing unwanted programs, clearing remnants after testing software, or keeping application-related storage under control.

FreeMacSoft AppCleaner is freeware for MacOS users and supports both Intel and Apple Silicon architecture. The current version is 3.7 and requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later.
